How I Started with Roses: Gramma grew roses, Mom grew roses, I learned to love roses and planted them at my first home and have been grwoing roses ever since.
Profession: I graduated from UC Riverside with a B.A. degree in Management, and a ‘minor’ in Computer Science. I retired from UC Berkeley in 2000 - I was a Computer Resources Manager for the College of Chemistry.
Rose Society Offices: Currently American Rose Society Vice President and NCNH District Consulting Rosarians Chair, past NCNH District Director; ARS Master Rosarian; ARS Horticultural Judge. Have been President of Mount Diablo Rose Society; Vice President, Secretary, Editor and Director for East Bay Rose Society; numerous committee chairs in EBRS, GGRS and MDRS; past web-mistress for NCNH, EBRS and ARS; past Editor for EBRS, GGRS and NCNH District's bulletin -The Criterion; Hort Chair - Roses for California Garden Clubs, Inc.
