Years Growing Roses: 7

How I Started with Roses: When I moved into my house in Corning in 1999, six pathetic-looking roses were trying to grow in the shade of an old persimmon tree. My neighbor, an experienced gardener, suggested I move the roses out to the sunshine by the driveway. Then I had to line all the sidewalks. Soon there after, a second line followed inside the first one. My backyard is rapidly disappearing. Now I have over 300 roses by gleefully indulging my obsessive-compulsive personality quirks with roses. Life is good.

I joined the ARS in 2002, the Butte Rose Society in 2003, and Shasta Rose Society in 2004.

Profession: Chiropractor.

Rose Society Offices: President, Butte Rose Society. 2006, 2007. Director, Butte Rose Society. 2004, 2005.
I became a Consulting Rosarian in July, 2006 and a Horticulture Judge in August, 2006.
