Years Growing Roses: 19

How I Started with Roses: Until 1997 I had never really enjoyed gardening and then I found roses. But even then I was not passionate about it. From 1997 I was a member of both Sacramento and Sierra Foothills Societies and due to some extenuating circumstances I decided it best that I leave both societies. But, I was still growing roses. When Jamie and I met and got married in 2005, we planted a few of the roses I had, at our house in Folsom, and added a few more. When we moved to El Dorado Hills, we did not move the roses but I ended up planting 5 roses over the next few years. In December of 2015, I was bored and needed a hobby. So, Jamie and I decided to give the roses a try together. And we haven't looked back since, enjoying the friendships we have renewed along with many new ones. We are now have over 180 roses in our yard.

Profession: Construction Manager for a Telecom Consulting company in the Sacramento area.

Rose Society Offices:
2002, Sacramento and Sierra Foothills Rose Society Secretary
2017, Sacramento Rose Society President
2017, Sierra Foothills Rose Society Treasurer

“If you can’t tell, I now have the passion for roses!!”
